Kaksha Shunya is a free learning platform. We do not sell courses, take payments, or run advertising networks on learner data.

What we store

When you create an account we store your name, email, password hash (via Better Auth), and role. As you learn we store enrollments, lesson progress, last video position, and quiz attempts when those features are enabled.

Files

Course thumbnails, lesson PDFs, and resource files are stored through our Better Upload abstraction (local disk in development, S3-compatible object storage in production). Lesson files that are not public require an active enrollment or a dashboard role to download.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Theme preference may also be stored in the browser.
